Red Oak Police Department arrest report
RED OAK, Iowa — A Red Oak man was taken into custody by the Red Oak Police Department on a felony warrant connected to Butler County.
According to an arrest report from the Red Oak Police Department, officers arrested 61-year-old Leslie Ray Sankey Jr. of Red Oak. Sankey was taken into custody and booked on a charge of Sexual Abuse in the 3rd Degree involving a victim between the ages of 12 and 13, a Class C felony under Iowa Code 709.4(1)(b)(2).
The arrest was made on a warrant issued through Butler County. The Red Oak Police Department listed the arrest type as taken into custody.
Bond for Sankey was set at $10,000.
The Red Oak Police Department handled the arrest.
