Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Red Oak man arrested for theft
RED OAK, Iowa — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Red Oak man on a theft charge.
According to the sheriff’s office, 68-year-old Randall Dean Cooper of Red Oak was arrested at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026, for theft in the fifth degree.
Cooper was taken into custody and booked into the Montgomery County Corrections Center, where he later posted bond.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
