Montgomery County Memorial Hospital and Clinics CEO Ron Kloewer is wrapping up nearly 40 years of service to the organization and the Red Oak community.
Klaver joined KCSI Radio this week to reflect on his career, the evolution of healthcare at MCMH, and the future of the hospital.
Kloewer first came to MCMH in the late 1980s to help oversee construction of the current hospital facility, which opened in 1989. He later returned in 1992 and played a key role in developing the hospital’s technology systems before eventually becoming CEO.
Under his leadership, the hospital transitioned to a Critical Access Hospital designation and completed a major expansion in 2010 that helped shift services toward outpatient care.
Today, more than 90 percent of care provided at MCMH is outpatient.
The community is invited to celebrate Kloewer’s career and the future of the hospital during a Celebration of Community event Friday, March 13 from 5–8 PM at the Wilson Performing Arts Center in Red Oak.
