Red Oak Junior/Senior High Principal Nate Perrien joined KCSI to discuss student achievements, upcoming testing, and the busy spring season at the school.
Two Red Oak seniors — Sienna Klepinger and Zoe Roehrig — have been selected for the Hawkeye 10 All-Academic Team, an honor awarded to just 22 seniors across the entire conference.
The Hawkeye 10 Character Award for Red Oak goes to Lily Marsden.
The awards banquet will be held April 1 in Atlantic.
Perrien also discussed upcoming ISASP state testing, which will take place the week of March 30 following spring break.
He reminded families that seniors must complete CPR training before graduation and encouraged students planning to attend college to complete their FAFSA forms to explore financial aid opportunities.
Spring activities are also getting underway with track, golf, and boys tennis beginning their seasons.
