Red Oak Police arrested a Red Oak man Tuesday evening on a public intoxication charge.

According to Red Oak Police, 28-year-old Robert Michael Daugherty was taken into custody on February 24, 2026, at about 5:00 p.m. near the intersection of Coolbaugh Street and 4th Street in Red Oak. He was charged with public intoxication.

Police said Daugherty was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he was being held on a $300 cash bond.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
