Creston Police: Three arrested on assault and drug paraphernalia charges

The Creston Police Department reported three arrests in incidents that occurred Feb. 24–25, 2026.

Assault arrest
At about 11:04 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, Erika Tamayo, 36, of 805 W. Howard St., was arrested at her residence and charged with assault. Tamayo was cited and released on a promise to appear.

Drug paraphernalia arrests
At about 10:42 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, Caleb Gavin Menefee, 19, of 316 S. Maple St., Lenox, was arrested at McKinley Park and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Menefee was cited and released on a promise to appear.

At about 10:42 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, Dawson Zane McMullen, 18, of 2111 Yellow Rose Ave., Murray, was also arrested at McKinley Park and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. McMullen was cited and released on a promise to appear.
