The arrest followed an investigation into a truck reported stolen from Griswold on October 30, 2025. Wilcox was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and held. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Wapello County Treasurer’s Office and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

On March 9, deputies arrested 46-year-old James Bernard Block of Cumberland on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving Under Suspension. Block was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and held. On March 10, an additional charge of Violation of Parole was added. Block is currently being held without bond.

On March 10, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Charles Albert Mace Jr. of Griswold on a charge of Violation of Parole. Mace was transported to the Cass County Jail and booked. He is being held without bond.

Also on March 10, deputies arrested 55-year-old Angela Jean Crisafi of Griswold on a charge of Interference with Official Acts. Crisafi was transported to the Cass County Jail where she was booked and held.

On March 11, deputies arrested 35-year-old Mikel Ann Erickson of Lewis on a Cass County warrant for Failure to Appear. Erickson was transported to the Cass County Jail where she was booked and held.

Authorities remind the public that all criminal charges are merely accusations and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law
