 Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports three arrests between April 23 and April 30

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported three arrests between April 23 and 1 p.m. April 30, according to a press release issued Thursday.

Authorities said Angela Jean Crisafi, 55, of Cumberland, was arrested April 23 on a charge of domestic assault with bodily injury, first offense. The sheriff’s office said Crisafi was taken to the Cass County Jail, where she was booked and later released on her own recognizance.

Also on April 23, deputies arrested Adia Mae Hebron, 23, of Des Moines on an open Cass County warrant for violation of probation, according to the release. Hebron was transported to the Cass County Jail, booked and held.

On April 26, the sheriff’s office reported the arrest of Thomas LeeRoy Jackson, 59, of Council Bluffs, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, third or subsequent offense. Jackson was taken to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and later released on bond.

The sheriff’s office noted that all criminal charges are accusations and that defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
