Alan Armstrong is seeking election as Page County Supervisor for District One and recently discussed his priorities and background during a radio interview.
Armstrong says experience in budgeting, business ownership, and community service would allow him to contribute immediately if elected.
He previously served on the board of supervisors and emphasized the importance of understanding county finances and working cooperatively with departments and communities across Page County.
Armstrong also talked about the benefits of the county moving to a five-member board and the importance of strong leadership working together for the best interests of residents.
Armstrong moved to Shenandoah in 1980 and later started Al’s Deli and Catering Service. He has also served on numerous community boards including the Shenandoah Library Foundation and the Greater Shenandoah Historical Society Museum board.
Voters with questions about his campaign can contact Armstrong through his Facebook page, Armstrong for Supervisor, or by phone at 712-246-8371.
