Creston Police Report Two Arrests March 13
CRESTON, Iowa — The Creston Police Department reported two arrests on March 13 involving separate incidents in the city.
According to authorities, at approximately 9:39 a.m., 37-year-old Lisa Joanne Squibbs of Afton was arrested at the Creston Law Enforcement Center on an outside agency warrant with additional charges. The warrants were for Operating While Under the Influence – 1st Offense and Failure to Appear on an original charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Squibbs was transported to the Union County Jail where she later posted a $1,000 cash or surety bond and a $300 cash-only bond.
Later that night, at about 11:55 p.m., Creston Police arrested 47-year-old Genea Collaine Moore of Des Moines at the intersection of Highway 34 and Abell Street. Moore was charged with Operating While Under the Influence – 1st Offense. She was transported to the Union County Jail and later posted a $1,000 cash or surety bond.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
