The Red Oak FFA Chapter is preparing for two upcoming events including its annual banquet and the return of the “Egg Your Yard” Easter fundraiser.
Chapter advisor Riley Pelzer and students Audri Johnson and Destiny Pruitt joined KCSI to talk about the fundraiser, which allows families to sign up to have FFA members hide Easter eggs in their yard the night before Easter.
Participants can purchase 25 eggs for $20, with larger packages also available. Orders must be submitted by April 1 and the event is limited to about 30 homes in Red Oak.
Funds raised help support FFA student activities, including conventions and competitions.
