Southwest Valley Superintendent Joe Erickson has announced he will step down at the end of June, with the district beginning the search for his replacement.
He also discussed upcoming budget decisions, including a possible tax levy increase in Corning due to enrollment declines and funding challenges, while Villisca’s rate is expected to remain stable.
Plus, several student events are coming up, including the spring musical “Frozen,” a National Honor Society volleyball tournament supporting clean water efforts, and a student council color run.
