Clarinda track and field is finishing the season strong, with multiple school records already broken and a program-record number of athletes heading to the Drake Relays.
Head Coach Chad Blank says the team has exceeded expectations, with underclassmen stepping up and strong performances across the board.
Seven events have qualified for Drake, including both boys and girls relays, individual events, and field events. In total, about 17 athletes will represent Clarinda at the meet.
With just a few meets left before postseason, the focus now shifts to conference, districts, and state competition.
