Des Moines Man Arrested on Failure to Appear Charge in Creston

CRESTON, Iowa — A Des Moines man was arrested Thursday night in Creston on a Failure to Appear charge.

According to the Creston Police Department, at approximately 10:19 p.m. on February 26, 2026, officers arrested 34-year-old James Edward Jonsson of Des Moines at 302 N. Pine Street

Jonsson was charged with Failure to Appear and was transported to the Union County Jail

All charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
