Red Oak FD, Elliott FD, and Stanton FD were dispatched to a reported fully engulfed detached garage fire

On Saturday February 28th at approximately 1:26 p.m. the

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a detached garage with 2 vehicles inside, fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters began an offensive (interior) fire attack until the roof became compromised and then they switched to defensive (exterior) fire attack.

Red Oak PD had completed the evacuation of the surrounding residences as a precaution in case of fire spread.

Fire was brought under control at 1:56 p.m.

1 male party was checked by rescue, however, required no additional medical attention.

No injuries to Firefighters.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
