GLENWOOD, Iowa — The Glenwood Police Department reports two arrests from its arrest press log covering May 24 through May 26.
According to the department, 30-year-old Cheyenne Marie Bledsoe of Avoca was arrested Sunday, May 24, at 1:21 a.m. in the area of South Locust Street in Glenwood. Bledsoe was charged with possession of marijuana, first offense; OWI, first offense; and child endangerment. Bond amounts listed were $1,000 for the possession charge, $1,000 for the OWI charge, and $2,000 for the child endangerment charge.
Glenwood Police also report 60-year-old Ralph David Springs Jr. of Glenwood was arrested Tuesday, May 26, at 12:09 a.m. in the area of South 7th Street and North Locust Street in Glenwood. Springs was charged with possession of a controlled substance, first, second or third offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was listed at $5,000 for the controlled substance charge and $0 for the drug paraphernalia charge.
The Glenwood Police Department was the arresting agency in both cases.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
