Mills County Sheriff’s Office Reports 11 Arrests

GLENWOOD, Iowa — The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports 11 arrests from May 18 through May 24, 2026.

According to the arrest press log, Nyayien S. Mayian, 36, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested on Monday, May 18, at 9:43 a.m. on Interstate 29 near Pacific Junction. Mayian was arrested on a revoked bond charge.

Rebecca Lee Mendoza, 47, of Council Bluffs, was arrested Monday, May 18, at 1:27 p.m. on Garfield Lane in Glenwood on an out-of-county/state warrant. Mendoza was also arrested Wednesday, May 20, at 6:54 p.m. on 188th Street near Pacific Junction on charges of controlled substance violation and drug tax stamp violations. Bond was listed at $5,000 on each charge.

Christopher Lee McDaniel, 36, of Pacific Junction, was arrested Tuesday, May 19, at 4:39 p.m. on Glover Road in Pacific Junction for interference with official acts. Bond was listed at $300.

Katelyn Elaine Boren, 27, of Council Bluffs, was arrested Tuesday, May 19, at 4:41 p.m. on Glover Road in Pacific Junction for interference with official acts. Bond was listed at $300.

Heather Nicole Valentine, 48, of Fowler, Illinois, was arrested Tuesday, May 19, at 6:52 p.m. near U.S. Highway 34 and U.S. Highway 59 in Emerson. Valentine was charged with false identification to a law/public service officer and disorderly conduct-obstructing a street. Bond was listed at $1,000 on the disorderly conduct charge.

Jose Montes-Rogero, 30, of Bellevue, Nebraska, was arrested Wednesday, May 20, at 10:05 p.m. on Sharp Street in Glenwood for failure to appear-felony. Bond was listed at $15,000.

Tyler Andrew Dishman, 33, of Malvern, was arrested Thursday, May 21, at 2:03 a.m. on West 5th Street in Malvern for domestic abuse assault-first offense. Bond was listed at $1,000.

Kandall Omar Brown, 43, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested Saturday, May 23, at 11:04 a.m. on Industrial Road in Glenwood on two failure to appear-citation charges. Bond was listed at $10,000 on one charge and $7,000 on the other.

Adrian Charles Bauer, 48, of Emerson, was arrested Saturday, May 23, at 10:34 p.m. on Manchester Street in Emerson for harassment of a public official or employee.

Crystal Dawn Edison, 41, of Malvern, was arrested Sunday, May 24, at 10:27 p.m. near East 9th Street and East Ridge Drive in Malvern. Edison was charged with third-degree kidnapping and harboring a runaway against parents. Bond was listed at $10,000 on the kidnapping charge.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office notes that a criminal charge is merely an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
