Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Reports Arrest

RED OAK, Iowa — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Nebraska man following a report of an intoxicated male causing issues.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies received the call on May 18, 2026, at approximately 2:47 p.m. in the 2000 block of Commerce Drive.

Authorities arrested Antonio Chitic, 26, of Omaha, Nebraska. Chitic was charged with public intoxication. He was also held for immigration authorities after officials reported he was illegally in the country from Guatemala.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was the agency involved in the arrest.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law
