One Killed, One Injured in Cass County Rollover Crash
CASS COUNTY, Iowa — One person was killed and another was injured in a rollover crash Tuesday evening in Cass County.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash happened May 9, 2026, at 5:13 p.m. at Highway 6 and 582nd Street. Authorities say a 2025 Kia was traveling eastbound on Highway 6 with two occupants when it left the roadway on a curve, rolled into a ditch and ejected the passenger.
The passenger, 18-year-old Cierra Jo Bullock of Glencoe, Minnesota, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 18-year-old Dakota Jean Bullock, also of Glencoe, Minnesota, suffered minor injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol report states Cierra Bullock was not wearing a seat belt. Dakota Bullock was wearing a seat belt.
The crash was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Lewis Fire assisted at the scene.
