Andy Rea, Cassie Woods and Red Oak High School junior Owen Blystone joined KCSI Radio to talk about fundraising efforts for the 2026 Red Oak After Prom. The group is hosting a bowling tournament fundraiser on Saturday, March 14 at the Red Oak bowling alley.
The event will feature two bowling sessions: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Teams of four can participate for $120 per team, which includes pizza and drinks.
In addition to bowling, attendees can take part in a silent auction featuring donated gift baskets and items from local businesses. A meat bundle raffle from Fairway will also be held during the event. Raffle tickets are available for $10 each or five for $30, and participants do not have to be present to win.
Rea said after-prom gives students a fun place to go while helping parents and the community ensure a safe celebration.
Community members interested in participating in the bowling tournament are encouraged to sign up by Sunday, March 8 to allow organizers time to finalize plans with the bowling alley.
Teams can register through the “Red Oak After Prom 2026” Facebook page using a Google form or by contacting Cassie Woods at 712-621-2339.
