The Red Oak boys tennis team is off to a strong 3-1 start this season, including a big win over Kemper.
Head coach Weston Rolenc says the team’s success comes from strong chemistry and a balanced lineup, with several players capable of competing at the top spot.
The team has also seen rapid improvement from newer players and continues to build depth across the roster.
The Tigers have a busy stretch ahead with key matchups against Shenandoah, St. Albert, and Lewis Central as they move quickly toward postseason play.
Junior Ethan Strunk is contributing on the court while also staying active in band, choir, and theater, and is considering a future in music education.
