Red Oak Seniors Prepare for Final Week, Awards Night and Graduation on Sunday May 17th at 2:00 p.m.

Red Oak High School Counselor, Tracy Vannausdle was today’s ROCSD update guest reminding that Red Oak seniors are entering their final week of high school with a full schedule of events, including Tuesday Tips Day, checkout day, Senior Awards Night, Baccalaureate, Thankful Thursday and Farewell Friday.

  • Graduating class: 66 seniors
  • Tuesday: Tuesday Tips Day and senior checkout day
  • Wednesday: Where Are They Wednesday, parent-excused skip day
  • Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.: Senior Awards Night in the auditorium
  • After Awards Night: Baccalaureate
  • Thursday: Thankful Thursday
  • Friday: Farewell Friday, cap-and-gown walk to Inman, breakfast from Red Oak Elks, senior slideshow and rehearsal
  • Graduation: Sunday, May 17, at 2:00 p.m. in the Orange Gym
  • Last day for other students: Friday, May 22
  • Other topics discussed: Social media, cell phone policy, student mental health, college and career planning, SWCC associate degree opportunities
