Red Oak woman arrested on drug-related warrant

RED OAK — Officers with the Red Oak Police Department arrested 40-year-old Katie Marie Pierce of Red Oak on Thursday, July 16.

Police said Pierce was taken into custody at approximately 11:35 a.m. in the 500 block of Maple Street on a valid Montgomery County warrant.

Pierce faces charges of gathering where controlled substances are unlawfully used, possession of a controlled substance as a third or subsequent offense, and possession of marijuana as a third or subsequent offense.

Pierce was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where she was being held on $12,000 cash or surety bond at the time the information was released.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
