Stanton CSD: Virtual learning day details, key winter dates, and upcoming events

Stanton is on a virtual learning day. K–5 students should complete their paper packets. Middle school and high school students should check email and Google Classroom for assignments. Assignments need to be completed and turned in before school resumes Tuesday to be counted present.
Upcoming dates and highlights:
  • Pink Out is Tuesday, January 27 (4:00 junior high girls vs Sidney; 5:00 spaghetti meal free-will donation; 6:00 varsity girls then varsity boys; Chuck-a-Duck $2 and Spare Change Challenge)
  • National Honor Society Induction is Wednesday, January 28 at 10:00 AM in the high school gym
  • Little Dance and Cheer Camp kids perform Friday, January 30 (campers arrive by 7:00 PM)
  • Stanton FFA Toy Show is Saturday, January 31 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the White 4H Exhibit Building in Red Oak (admission $5; 10 and under free)
  • Note: No Bible Club on January 28. Bible Club will meet February 4.
  • Midterm grade check is Friday, February 6. Families can monitor grades through JMC.
Teammates: January is National Mentoring Month. Teammates will sell Almost Famous popcorn at games on January 27, 29, and 30 to support the program. Learn more at teammates.org
