The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has released information on four arrests made between September 4 and September 6.

On September 4, 2026, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Arthur Lee Castle of Essex on charges of possession of marijuana, first offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Castle was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and later released on bond.

On September 5, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old David Spencer Reeves of Anita on two counts of domestic abuse assault, third offense, and a charge of child endangerment. Reeves was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and held.

Also on September 5, deputies arrested 50-year-old Cecil Todd Rife of Pilgrams Knob, Virginia, on a charge of OWI, first offense. Rife was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and later released on bond.

On September 6, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Dillion Michael Hawley of Council Bluffs on a charge of OWI, second offense. Hawley was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and later released on bond.

All criminal charges are merely accusations, and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
