Wilson Rocks Returns June 13 to Support Wilson’s Way Childhood Cancer Benefit

  • Event: Wilson Rocks benefit concert and street dance
  • Date: Saturday, June 13
  • Location: Railroad Street area in Shenandoah, near The Mill, The Depot, and Cat’s Coolers
  • Cause: Wilson’s Way, a pending 501(c)(3) foundation supporting families facing childhood cancer
  • Inspiration: Wilson Barth of Shenandoah
  • Daytime market: Noon to 4 p.m. at The Mill and along Railroad Street
  • Evening concert/street dance: 5:30 to 11 p.m.
  • Admission: $10 for adults; children 18 and under are free
  • Food: 221 Grill from Council Bluffs
  • Evening bands: Gas and Grass and Gallivant
  • Acoustic music: During the daytime vendor market
  • Donations: Accepted at the event or by mail to Wilson’s Way, P.O. Box 51, Shenandoah
  • Website: wilsonsway.org, currently under construction
  • Main sponsors: McNeely Garage Door Services, Jim Hughes Real Estate, Community First Credit Union, Wild Rose Chevrolet
