Red Oak Woman Arrested on Child Endangerment Warrant

RED OAK, Iowa — A Red Oak woman was arrested Wednesday evening on a child endangerment warrant.

According to the Red Oak Police Department, officers arrested 32-year-old Ashley Nicole King, of Red Oak, at 7:29 p.m. on May 13, 2026, in the 100 block of Coolbaugh Street.

King was arrested on a valid Red Oak Police Department warrant for child endangerment. The charge is listed as an aggravated misdemeanor.

King was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where she was being held on $2,000 bond.

The Red Oak Police Department was the arresting agency.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
