Cass County Sheriff’s Office Reports Several Arrests

ATLANTIC, Iowa — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports five arrests from May 21 through May 29.

According to the report, on May 21, deputies arrested 41-year-old Miles Blake Cooley of Anita on a charge of possession of marijuana, third offense. Cooley was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and released on his own recognizance.

On May 23, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Michael Thomas Brosam of Knoxville on an active Atlantic Police Department warrant. Brosam was wanted on charges of financial exploitation of the elderly and first-degree theft over $10,000 involving fraud. Brosam was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and held.

On May 25, deputies arrested 42-year-old Ky Patrick Christell of Omaha on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Christell was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and released on a guilty plea.

On May 26, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Lisa Marie King of Cumberland on a charge of violation of a domestic contact order. King was transported to the Cass County Jail, where she was booked and held.

Also on May 26, deputies arrested 36-year-old Tyler Lee Crawley of Cumberland on a charge of violation of a domestic contact order. Crawley was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and released on bond.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office notes that all criminal charges are merely accusations, and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
