The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Red Oak man on Wednesday, July 1st.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Joseph Christopher Norris of Red Oak was arrested for the charge of election misconduct in the first degree, a Class D felony.
The case stems from an incident that occurred in November of 2024. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the State Attorney General’s Office during the investigation, where it was determined charges would be filed.
Norris was being held at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on $5,000 bond.
