Mills County Chamber outlines 2026 plans: tourism video grant, community betterment momentum, and a busy events calendar

Mills County Chamber Executive Director Gitzy Loder shared what’s ahead for 2026, including a $10,000 Travel Iowa grant supporting a year-long video marketing campaign to boost tourism, plus new business-focused networking and entrepreneur support.
Businesses and organizations can also post job openings and community events directly to the Chamber website to help more people see what’s happening across Mills County.
Upcoming dates include:
  • Legislative Coffees: Jan. 31 and Feb. 28 in Glenwood, and April 11 in Malvern
  • Chamber Annual Banquet: Thursday at The Fountains (Fountain Ballroom) in Glenwood (Classic Cafe catering)
  • Trades Appreciation Breakfast: March 21 at Switch in Hastings
  • Silent Book Club: Second Monday of each month in Glenwood
