Inman Elementary students are preparing for end-of-year transitions, testing, and construction updates

Inman Elementary Principal Dr. Jane Chaillie says students and staff are staying busy with end-of-year activities, major transitions, and ongoing construction projects

  • Sixth-grade transition day scheduled for May
  • Extra transition support available for anxious students
  • Preschool & kindergarten enrollment underway (intent form required)
  • Kindergarten signing day planned for end of May
  • ISASP testing completed; universal screeners begin this week
  • Screeners measure growth and provide immediate results
  • Construction progress includes:
    • Secure entrance addition
    • Cafeteria expansion
  • Project timeline: goal completion before next school year
  • PTO Carnival moved to Junior/Senior High due to construction
  • Main entrance temporarily relocated to north side of building
  • Preschool field trip: Viking Lake (Wednesday)
  • Kindergarten field trip: Anderson Conservation (Friday)
  • Community encouraged to support students through attendance and engagement
