Collaboration, housing development, and future leadership are at the forefront of ongoing efforts by the Clarinda Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), according to Executive Director Amy McQueen.  McQueen, who has served in the role for just over five years, says one of the most important developments has been increased cooperation among local organizations.
“We’re working much more closely with the chamber, the foundation, and other groups to support each other and move Clarinda forward,” McQueen said.
Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser
CEDC’s annual golf tournament fundraiser is set for Thursday, June 11, at the Clarinda Country Club.
The event includes:
  • Lunch at 11 a.m.
  • Shotgun start at noon
  • Raffle and live auction following play
Proceeds support economic development initiatives and community projects.
