The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported four arrests between April 30 and May 7

CASS COUNTY, Iowa — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported four arrests between April 30 and May 7.

On May 1, deputies arrested 51-year-old Brian Lee Carlson of Elk Horn on charges of Driving with a Denied or Revoked License-OWI and Possession of Marijuana, First Offense. Carlson was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and released on bond.

On May 4, deputies arrested 70-year-old Ricky Lee Roby of Lewis on a Cass County warrant for Violation of Probation. Roby was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and held.

Also on May 4, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Daniel Albert Ward of Atlantic on an Atlantic Police Department warrant for Theft 2nd Degree, involving an amount greater than $1,500 and less than $10,000. Ward was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and held.

On May 5, deputies arrested 36-year-old Kristopher Dale Grashorn of Adair on a Cass County Sheriff’s Office warrant for Sex Offender Registration Violation, 2nd or Subsequent Offense. Grashorn was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and released on bond.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that all criminal charges are merely accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
