A Red Oak woman was arrested Wednesday evening on a warrant for child endangerment

RED OAK, Iowa — A Red Oak woman was arrested Wednesday evening on a warrant for child endangerment following an incident investigated by local police.

According to the Red Oak Police Department, 32-year-old Sandra Elizabeth Chacon was arrested on April 1, 2026, at 5:38 p.m. Officers arrested Chacon in the 300 block of East Washington Avenue on an active warrant.

The warrant was for child endangerment. Chacon was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and held on $2,000 bond.

The Red Oak Police Department handled the arrest.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
