Jay Hamilton joined KCSI to help spread the word about Can Play, an inclusive sports program giving children with special needs the chance to experience the joy of being part of a team.

Volunteers are also welcome. Hamilton said the Clarinda softball team has embraced the program, and parents, community members and spectators can all help by assisting on the field, cheering from the stands or supporting the program with snacks, drinks or donations.
Hamilton said the program’s biggest goal is simple: giving kids the chance to have fun, be cheered on and feel included
