Cass County Sheriff’s Office Reports Two Arrests

ALANTIC, Iowa — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has released its arrest report covering June 18 through 10 a.m. on June 25, 2026.

Authorities say Donald Keith Mintey, 52, of Waterloo, was arrested on June 19 on three counts of possession of a controlled substance, prescription drug violation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mintey was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and held.

The sheriff’s office also reports Gene Christopher Reed, 53, of Atlantic, was arrested on June 25 on a Cass County warrant for violation of probation. Reed was transported to the Cass County Jail, where he was booked and held.

All criminal charges are accusations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
