Creston Police Report Two Arrests March 5

CRESTON, Iowa — The Creston Police Department reports two arrests on March 5, 2026, according to a department press release.

At approximately 8:00 a.m., officers arrested 65-year-old David Allen Mick of 804 W. Summit at his residence. Mick was charged with Failure to Abate Nuisance. He was cited and released on a promise to appear in court.

Later that evening at approximately 7:35 p.m., officers arrested 38-year-old Christopher Alan Pierce of 1007 N. Cherry Street. Pierce was taken into custody at the intersection of Poplar and Buckeye Streets and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was also cited and released on a promise to appear.

Both arrests were handled by the Creston Police Department.

All criminal charges are merely accusations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law
