Dockweiler Found Guilty of Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury

Joshua Duane Dockweiler Found Guilty of Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury

CLARINDA, IOWA, April 30, 2026: The Page County Attorney’s Office announced today that 48-year-old Joshua Duane Dockweiler of Clarinda, Iowa, was found guilty, contrary to his plea, of one count of Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a Serious Misdemeanor, in Page County District Court following a one-day jury trial on April 28, 2026. The jury returned its verdict after approximately 1.5 hours of deliberation. Joshua Duane Dockweiler is currently being held at the Page County Jail on a federal detainer and sentencing will be scheduled for a later date. Joshua Duane Dockweiler faces a sentence of up to one year in jail and a $2,560.00 fine.

This case was investigated by the Clarinda Police Department and prosecuted by the Page County Attorney’s Office
