Glenwood Police Report Two Arrests in Early April
GLENWOOD, Iowa — The Glenwood Police Department reported two arrests between April 3 and April 7, according to an arrest press log.
On April 3 at approximately 1:53 a.m., officers with the Glenwood Police Department arrested 18-year-old Madison Elaine Elings of Glenwood in the 500 block area of South Locust Street. Elings was charged with possession of marijuana, first offense; failure to provide proof of financial liability; driving under suspension; and operating while intoxicated, first offense. Bond was set at $1,000 for the possession charge and OWI charge, and $300 each for the remaining charges.
On April 7 at approximately 8:56 p.m., Glenwood Police arrested 46-year-old Noah Christian Handley of Glenwood in the area of North Walnut Street. Handley was charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense, and interference with official acts. He was held without bond.
Authorities note that all charges are accusations and individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
