Glenwood Police Report Two Arrests Over Weekend

GLENWOOD, Iowa — The Glenwood Police Department reported two arrests in its latest arrest press log covering June 5 through June 7, 2026.

Nicholas Adam Weinfurter, 40, of Glenwood, was arrested June 5 at 4:02 p.m. by Glenwood Police. The listed location was South Locust Street in Glenwood. Weinfurter was charged with driving while barred. Bond was set at $2,000.

Kelly Wayne McVay, 65, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested June 7 at 8:55 a.m. by Glenwood Police. The listed location was Sharp Street in Glenwood. McVay was charged with eluding and failure to appear. Bond amounts were listed at $1,000 and $300.

The press log notes that a criminal charge is merely an accusation and that defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
