Montgomery County deputies arrested a juvenile on an OWI charge following a traffic stop in Villisca.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop at about 11:25 p.m. on Feb. 16 at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 5th Street in Villisca. After an investigation, a 16-year-old was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, first offense.

The juvenile was cited into Juvenile Court and released to a guardian.
