The Red Oak Grand Theatre will host its 4th Annual Big Game Party on Sunday, February 8, 2026, inviting the community to watch the Big Game on the big screen while supporting the all-volunteer theatre and its annual operating costs.
Doors open at 4:00 p.m. in the newer theatre, where attendees can get in early for silent auction viewing and bidding. The Big Game will be shown on the big screen, and admission is free. A free-will donation will be accepted to support the theatre. Organizers ask that anyone 18 or younger attend with a parent or guardian.
Food will be available by free-will donation, and the theatre will provide water and soda. Attendees may also bring their own beverage if they prefer.
A silent auction will run throughout the evening, with several tables of donated community items. A 50/50 raffle will also be held, with tickets available at the door and the drawing planned for halftime. Silent auction bidding will close after halftime.
In addition, the Grand Theatre is selling raffle tickets now through the night of the event for four featured prize packages, with the drawing expected around 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 each or five for $40, and buyers can choose which prize their tickets go toward (or split tickets across prizes).
Featured raffle prizes include:
  • 50″ Samsung TV (donated by Mark Jackson’s Hardware Hank) – value $600
  • Propane pizza oven kit (includes accessories and a 20-lb propane tank) – value $300
  • Solo Stove Ranger (with a bundle of wood) – value not listed on-air
  • Yeti Roller Cooler (from Ace Hardware) – value $375
Organizers said the theatre’s largest annual expense is insurance, approximately $10,000 per year, and fundraisers like the Big Game Party and the chicken & noodle drive-up help keep ticket prices at $2 and concessions affordable. The theatre has operated as an all-volunteer organization since 2010 and expanded to a second screen in 2020.
Raffle tickets are available through theatre board members and at the theatre. A flyer with details is posted on the theatre window, and tickets can also be purchased via Venmo. The theatre’s Venmo handle is @redoak-grandtheatrexpansion (use the QR code if available), and buyers should include a note indicating which prize their tickets should be applied to.
