Southwest Valley Schools Prepare for Testing, Busy Spring Activities, and First-Ever Color Run
Southwest Valley Schools are heading into a busy stretch as the school year winds down.
State testing for grades 3–11 begins April 13, and students are encouraged to be well-rested, on time, and ready to go. Spring sports are also in full swing with golf, track, and tennis competitions taking place throughout the week.
Students continue to stay active beyond athletics as well, with FCCLA and FBLA attending state events and FFA preparing for its upcoming conference.
The district will also host its first Color Run this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. to support the Thirst Project, helping provide clean water in communities in need.
