The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports two men were arrested on outstanding warrants Monday evening.
At approximately 8:12 p.m. on Monday, July 27, deputies arrested 41-year-old Randon Daniel Phelps of Red Oak near the intersection of Highway 34 and Highway 59.
Phelps was arrested on an active Montgomery County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unlawful possession of prescription drugs. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and was being held on $2,000 cash or surety bond.
Later that night, at approximately 11:11 p.m., deputies arrested 57-year-old Bradley Leo Ranney of Massena in the 1100 block of 130th Street.
Ranney was arrested on an active Pottawattamie County warrant for violation of parole. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and was being held without bond.
Deputies with the Mills County Sheriff’s Office assisted with Ranney’s arrest.
All individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
