Montgomery County Deputies Arrest Man Following Traffic Stop
RED OAK, Iowa — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports one person was arrested following a traffic stop on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
According to the sheriff’s office, Montgomery County deputies arrested 33-year-old Trevor Hamilton of Atoka, Oklahoma, at about 2:50 p.m. after a traffic stop at 170th Street and Highway 71.
Hamilton was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, first offense.
Hamilton was held on $1,000 bond.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was the reporting agency in the arrest.
