Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Malvern man arrested
RED OAK, Iowa — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Malvern man following a traffic stop Thursday evening.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop near North 1st Street and East Elm Street in Red Oak at approximately 8:30 p.m. on September 17, 2026. Upon further investigation, deputies arrested 45-year-old Justin Wayne Schomburg of Malvern for driving under suspension.
Schomburg was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he was being held on $491.25 bond.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was the arresting agency.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
