Elliott man arrested in Montgomery County on driving-while-barred charge, warrant

 Cory Ross Smith arrested in Montgomery County on driving-while-barred charge, warrant

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested a 41-year-old Elliott man early Saturday, May 2, on a driving-while-barred charge and an out-of-county warrant.

According to the sheriff’s office, Cory Ross Smith was arrested at about 1:21 a.m. on a charge of driving while barred, an aggravated misdemeanor. Authorities also said Smith was wanted on an Adams County warrant for failure to appear on a driving-while-barred case.

The sheriff’s office said Smith was taken to the Montgomery County Jail, where he was being held on a $2,750 bond.
